Once your imported vehicle has a UK registration number, it needs a UK-compliant number plate manufactured in the size and format your vehicle requires, and we can make this for you.
Some imports, particularly from Japan and the US, have a smaller or differently shaped plate recess, so we offer a range of sizes to fit correctly.
We need the same original ID and entitlement documents as any order. For imports this is usually your UK V5C once the vehicle has been registered here, so get in touch if you are unsure what applies to your import.
Yes, many import plates are ordered in our short or hex-cut styles for a closer match to the original look of the vehicle.
Yes. DVLA requires all original ID and entitlement documents to be verified in person by the manufacturer before number plates can legally be produced. After ordering, we will email you instructions on how to send your documents to us.
Yes, all PlateBoss plates come with a 3-year warranty covering tunnelling, de-lamination, and fading. Drilling into your plates voids the warranty, so we only recommend using our fixing pads.
Plates are dispatched the same day if your order is placed before 2pm and we have received your documents else within 24 hours of us receiving your ID and entitlement documents, with free Royal Mail Tracked 48 signed-for delivery included as standard. If you need your plates quickly you can upgrade to 24hr tracked delivery at checkout. Same-day collection from our Hounslow store is also available at checkout.
Yes, select the Collect from store option at checkout. Once we have received your order we will contact you to arrange a time to bring your documents in and collect your plates.
