This page summarises how returns, refunds and cancellations work for orders placed with PlateBoss.co.uk (Homee Ltd). It should be read alongside our full Terms & Conditions, which remain the governing document.

Bespoke, made-to-order plates

Every number plate we produce is made to your vehicle’s specific registration, so it is treated as a bespoke item under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This means the standard 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases does not apply once production has started.

Cancelling an order

If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@plateboss.co.uk. If your plates have not yet gone into production we will do our best to accommodate the change. Once an order has been cancelled after the registration film has been printed, a cancellation fee of £3.99 per plate applies to cover administration and wasted materials. At our discretion we can refund postage, accessories and fitting kits.

Faulty or damaged plates

All plates are quality-checked before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please email us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the issue and the quality control label included with your order. We will investigate and, where a fault is confirmed, replace the item.

Accessories and other products

Number plates themselves cannot be returned once produced, as they are bespoke items. Accessories such as plate surrounds may be returned at our discretion where the item is faulty on delivery or the wrong item was sent.

Lost or delayed deliveries

Items are not classed as lost by our courier until 14 days after dispatch. If a delivery is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, we’ll investigate with our courier before any replacement or refund is issued.

Warranty

All PlateBoss plates come with a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects such as tunnelling, delamination and fading. The warranty does not cover damage caused during fitting (for example cracking when drilling) or general wear and tear.
